Bio – Jaymee-Lee Martin

Jaymee-Lee Martin started kayaking at the age of 15 after being identified through the WAIS (Western Australian Institute of Sport) Talent Identification Program. Since then she has competed both nationally and Internationally in the Sprint discipline, specialising in K1 200m and K1 500m. Jaymee-Lee made the Olympic Hopefuls Team in 2007 and the Australian under 23’s Team in 2011, which took her toSlovakia, Italy and Germany. Jaymee-Lee took first place in K1 500m Under 23 Division at the Bochum, Germany International Regatta in 2011.

Jaymee-Lee Martin has been a member of the Canning River Canoe Club for many years and became an accredited Australian Sports Commission Community Coach in 2011.
