The CRCC would like to recognise the life of one of our first 10 years club member (TECC), Robert Bootsma husband of fellow member Barbara, passed away in Margaret River last Sunday. Funeral is in Busselton Thursday 2nd Feb. William Barret & Sons 2.30 pm Bussel Hwy followed by celebration of life at Geographe Bay Yacht Club. Rob & his wife Barbara have one of the best kept original WWK2′ s raced in the 60,70s and early 80s prior to the WA initiated development of white water decked ‘Olympic K2’s in Western Australia pioneered by then TECC! T hi d WWK2’ is the Concord model, which followed the Ultimate model designed and manufactured by the late Bill Hine, father of Neville Hine.
