On another beautiful Sunday morning at Kent Street Weir, the club welcomed 3 new members – Marianne, Marie and Orla. Both Marianne and Marie had completed a come and try session with Simone Burge in the last two weeks and Orla had visited the club twice previously for the social paddles a few months ago.
Several small groups of 2-4 paddlers left separately to head downstream to the Riverton Bridge, a good turn out. Conditions were excellent and the new members were shown a few of the “off the beaten tracks”.
