This morning 8 paddlers set off in canoes and kayaks to clean up the Canning River, as part of Clean Up Australia Day activities. We also celebrated Lesley’s retirement. A great morning, although tough getting to some of the bottles, cans and other debris in hard to reach places along the Canning. We had several bags of rubbish at the end, though nothing to compare with Dave Brown’s double mattress find from 2019.
