CRCC Tuesday Club Nights
Each week the CRCC runs a social paddle race focussing on healthy fun competition where anyone can win a movie voucher on the night. We get all types of boats participating from short plastics to K1s and everything in between. Our paddlers are similalry diverse from first time paddlers, retirees through to olympians. $2 to enter is all it costs and we keep records of all your races on the website. Courses range in distances of between 4km and 6km and races are one of three types;
Nomination Race : Paddlers nominate the time they will complete the course in, winner is the paddler who gets closest to his own nominated time – no watches allowed.
3 Week Average Race : The paddler who beats their own average time for their previous 3 races by the most is the winner.
Countdown Race : A countdown timer is started at 50 minutes and paddlers leave the start line whenever they wish, first paddler past the finish line after the countdown gets to 0 is the winner – no watches allowed.
